Part II

This second version has shoes.
While I added them, I was thinking of how I wanted the image framed and how I would pose to check the accuracy of what my mind came up with.

I like drawing the historic clothing.

    I like it more with the shoes, I think where you placed them balances out the overhang of the left side of the book and the feather. Nice narrow frame too!

    Thanks for the affirmative comment, Helaine. I think the shoes added a stronger time sense as well, in terms of the aesthetic of the era I am alluding to.
